Ashtavinayak Yatra – 2N / 3D Ashtavinayak literally means “eight Ganeshas” in Sanskrit.  Ganesha is the Hindu deity of obstacles, unity, prosperity and learning. Ashtavinayak yatra refers to a pilgrimage to the eight Temples in Maharashtra state in India.  The Ashtavinayak yatra or pilgrimage covers the eight ancient holy temples of Ganesha which are situated around Pune. Each of these temples has its own individual legend and history, as distinct from each other as the murtis in each temple. All the Eight Ashtavinayak Temples are Swayambhu (self-originated). Day 1: Pick up from Borivali/Dadar and leave for Pali (125 km 3 hrs). Ballaleshwar Temple Darshan & leave for Mahad (40 km 1 hr). Varad Vinayak Temple Darshan & leave for Ranjangaon (130 km 3.5 hrs). Mahaganpati Temple Darshan. Stay at Pune. Day 2: After breakfast leave for Theur (25 km 20 min). Chintamani Temple Darshan & leave for Siddhatek (85 km 1.5 hrs).
